The nostalgia is there! Rooms are clean and much larger than you'd expect. Friendly staff - excellent Route 66 gift store (lots to choose from) - very nice outdoor pool, excellent courtyard setting with green grass. Feels like old-days Route 66 in the modern era (even offered Wi-Fi). Definitely one of the major highlights of the entire Route 66 Trip.... more

This is truly a RT 66 Icon. It was like steping back in time. I saw the propertery 2 years ago and it had not changed. It still looks freshly painted & the lawn well manicured. My husband, infant daughter, and myself stayed here on one of our nights driving cross country. All I can say is that this was one of the most disgusting hotels I have ever come across. The floors were disgusting. If you walked from one end of the room to the other barefoot you would need to wash your feet off... more
