This is my second trip to Coastanoa. It is a mixed experience at best. Way too expensive for the experience. Dirty carpet, no privacy screen on shared porch, shared bath was clean on arrival and went downhill from there. As it is shared by 10-12 rooms and has only 3 showers, not a surprise. The creekside cottage was perfect for a small family. The kids loved morning in the garden. We were spoiled and made to feel so at home with a delicious apple pancake. We'd have stayed an extra night if we didn't have to go back to work. more
The biggest problem seems to be the description of the property. It is NOT near Santa Cruz (i.e. UC Santa Cruz or the Boardwalk). While we could see the ocean, it is NOT "on" the beach.
