Went in for lunch on Friday, got there at 11:55am, our party of 4 waited exactly 50 minutes for a table. First time there, so not sure if that is normal. Over the years I’ve returned to Oakland’s Executive Inn & Suites. I look forward to my “home away from home” on Oakland’s Embarcadero mainly because of its quiet waterside rooms – be sure to book them, rather than the rooms facing Interstate 880. We had reservation at a hotel in downtown Oakland in downtown Oakland, but they were booked. The lady at the desk called this new hotel (Clarion) down the street. They just opened a day ago. The restaurant is not open yet, but the place is immaculate and very clean. Enjoyed our stay. more
