The check-in was pleasant. We stayed on the street side. Traffic was a little loud. This could easily be fixed by replacing the single pane windows. We have one 5 year old who wasnt even being loud but we got a call at 5 minutes to 7 askins us to keep it down as someone was trying to sleep below... more

Traveled back to California for a cousin's wedding. Since I was traveling alone, wanted a safe location. Also looked for value & location. I got every I was looking for with this hotel. It was conveniently located in the heart of Monterey, a short drive to everything as I was also able to take in some of the local sites.... more

The food was excellant, with superb service. The prices are reasonable as they vary from $13 to $20 per entree. The portions are a good size. Certainly there will be left overs. On Friday and Saturday nights they have belly dancing at around 7:00 pm. The ambience of the restaurant is very nicely done. The owner is charming and strives... more
