When Chow opened in Costa Mesa, we were glad to have an independent , small cafe that offered fresh food at fair prices. The first few times it was good, but on my last visit the service was not pleasant with the waiter making inappropriate banter that seemed mean spirited. Our family booked several rooms at the hotel as this was where the wedding reception was held. Rooms were nice but was very disappointed with cleanliness. Our bathroom was not even cleaned, all they did was change the towels. The cleaning staff did not even replenish or provide extra toilet paper. more

This is an older "motel" type property with exterior hallways. My room looked like it was recently updated, with a large flat screen LCD television and granite countertops in the bathroom. The room was relatively clean except for the carpeting which had a few stains. The bathroom was very clean however. The bed was comfortable with lots of comfy pillows... more
