Huge hotel with very friendly front desk staff. Free food is a definite plus. Breakfasts were plentiful as were afternoon 'meals' which ate more like meals. Stayed here for one night on our way from LA to San Diego. Pleasantly surprised with both the price and quality of the room. Nice new shower, good bathroom. Overall very good place to stay if on a budget. more

I stayed here with my Wife and friends for 4 nights during late October/early November. The Inn is a B&B and is located only a couple of blocks away from the excellent Carlsbad beach front (less than 5 mins walk), and about 4 blocks away (10 mins walk) from the main street where there are pleanty of bars and restaurants.... more
