We stayed in Blythe for the same reason most people do--we were traveling and it was time to stop and spend the night, and there was no other city nearby. Not sure why a town with desert and river recreation is so underdeveloped. Was there for work for 6 weeks. My only saving grace was Curves friendly staff. Ate at several restaurants and Marie's Mexican on the main drag is about the only one I could recommend. The restaurant by the Travelers Inn is so so, has a good breakfast. more

The owners are very pleasant and accommodating. Had extended stay here until a rental could be found. DSL and restaurant next door is probably one of the best in Blythe. more
