Contrary to the earlier reviewer, the pool is not something to discount after you've been biking around in 30+ degree heat. It really seals the deal. We spent 4 nights at Tharabar Gate, a quiet and stylish hotel close to the historic center. The staff was friendly, attentive and the food was great. They even had some swiss dishes on the Menu! We enjoyed the pool and our spacious and quiet room with AC. We would definitely come back! more

It is one of the most beautiful hotels of the world. The views is fantastic (see photos). Unfortunately SPA and cuisine is not same (very not professional). Moreover, my wife has been poisoned with the salad served for a little table at pool (probably yesterday's) and was ill a half-day. The general manager who at entrance to hotel has shaken... more
