I have been meaning to write this and regret I have neglected to do so earlier. The best guide ever is Richard Coke. He was simply the most charming and patient person, the best teacher, an outstanding scout, a solid driver, and an amazing philosopher that one could ever dream to have as a guide. Although Chief''s camp is totally luxurious, it rather proved to be a 5-star "tourism factory" than a 5-star african lodge. We booked through Africa2Go. Great agency. The setting and accommodations couldn't have been better. Game viewing was outstanding! The guides and staff were excellent. We wish the management of Vumbura Plains would allow the staff members to engage the guests more. After our wonderful experience at Kings Pool, Vumbura was a disappointment in this regard.
