The people at the front desk were not very friendly, the rooms reminded me of the hotel in the tropics in the 70's, the soaps were "motel soaps" , the breakfast reminded me of the breakfast in a hotel in a communist country . I don't think it's worth what I paid. more
It looks like a fairy-tale castle. Rooms have no unnecessary luxury, but are clean, with fan, AC, shower and spacious shady balconies with comfortable chairs. As it is situated a bit up-hill, there is usually some wind. The personel is very helpfull and speaks, besides Spanish and English, Dutch and a bit of German. Food is simple, but freshly prepared. more
I resided on Margarita Island, in Porlamar, Venezuela for just over a year. If you are looking for an island to visit but want a Latin Flare, there is no other like it! I would highly recommend visiting Porlamar! more
