Naff decor in need of a good clean, noisy rooms - paper thin walls. No wifi , "tasteful" lounge like playgroup classroom ( other reviewers please note!)??? no TV signal. Average pub food at city prices - probably better than Newton Stewarts other offerings (take-aways) . Recommend to try elsewhere. more
My stay At the Bruce Hotel Newton Stewart was anything but nice,the manager is very rude and UNPROFESIONAL,the setting of newton stewart is lovely,shame about the hotel.the bar area is unclean with workmen sitting at the bar speaking in mostly swear words which the staff ignore.The dinner was O.K for a one off,the rooms were OK if a little cold... more
We had a wonderful time. The food was superb and of very high quality. Staff were friendly and professional/informative and very attentive to ours and the childrens needs. This hotel made our holiday! ! We would recommnd this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting the area. A Big Thank You ! more
