We have been to the Holt on 2 occasions and the place is very pleasant and tastefully decorated with a mixture of chairs, tables and comfy sofas. The menu although not a huge selection, what was on offer we thought represented good value,nice to see also a good selection of wines. We will definately recommend this place. more

We eat regularly at the Holt, and can honestly say we've never had a bad meal. The restaurant is owned by Otter Breweries and run by their sons. The food is modern and unusual - limited menu but I've never struggled to choose. Excellent wine choice and a great place to go just for drink. more

Nice and characterful but wobetide you if you get the hard mattress! Small room (double) just large enough for two to move about, but bathroom at least as big and well equipped.
