A second most enjoyable visit, albeit not long enough. Restful atmosphere, comfortable rooms, very good food, excellent wine. and very good service. The breakfast is particularly to be recommended - few people get the English breakfast right, especially eggs. The White Hart did full justice. A very good centre for exploring Suffolk. We will definitely go again more

Lovely feel to this place - feels very much the old 'coaching inn' but with nice modern touches. Top quality food in the restaurant and the wine really reasonably priced. On our 5th visit to the restaurant , with an important overseas guest. Two people had serious stomach upset after dinner. It is a real shame because we liked the place. Ray Kodesh more

My husband and I stay here regularly - it is perfect for a romantic weekend break. The rooms are beautiful: they are old and beamed with an understated luxury and charm. The restaurant is excellent. I have stayed at the White Hart, several times during June/July 2004 whilst working in the Suffolk area. It is a fantastic find - great service, brilliant rooms, excellent food and wine list. Thoroughly recommend it for lunch, dinner and for an overnight stay over. more
