Hotel Valholl is situated on the edge of a large lake and is in Thingvellir. It is right next to the sight of the first democracy but far more impressive is the mid Atlantic Rift. We visited Iceland in April 2009 and did a snorkeling trip to Silfra. First I was a little bit afraid because of the cold water but on the other hand I was very curious about the clearness of the water and the tectonic particularity!
