“booking cancelled”

Hello, Very bad surprise to have my booking for 2 rooms cancelled 3 weeks before the scheduled night, so I had to look urgently for another accomodation for a family of 5 in the Egilsstadir area. Tough especially for end of July ! Please check your booking with such place ! more

Location: My husband and I stayed here for just one night . We checked in after driving from Hofn through Oxi (amazing mountain driving). It about a two minute drive from the center of town but I prefered staying here because had a great view of the town and mountains. It was very convenient to stay there during our road... more

We found ourselves at the Hotel Herad in Egilsstadir almost by accident. We had hoped to stay at the Guesthouse, but they were full and directed us to the Herad. Upon arriving and finding out we hadn't eaten, the Herad staff directed us to Cafe Nielsen, which was fantastic and our best meal of the trip! After dinner we returned... more
