While on a road trip to Phoenix, Az. we stopped in a little town called Winslow. We had heard so much of "The Standing of the Corner" through friends. This was a really disappointing stay in a number of ways: * There's no proper road leading up to the hotel, only a bumpy unmade road. * There's no lift, so if you're based upstairs you have to carry all your suitcases up manually. We were forced off the road due to a recent snowstorm and ended up in Winslow, Arizona. While driving there the radio station we listened to repeatedly announced the famous "La Posada Hotel".
