We booked a trip to do the Polar Express train ride with our 2 little boys. We canceled the over-priced and over-hyped hotel package that comes with the train tickets, and decided to just get the tickets and stay at the lodge. The accommodations were great! This is a strange place, joined onto the Holiday Inn. When we first walked in in seemed like a deserted canteen, however when you go round the corner there is a small area that is more like a conventional bar/restaurant.
