I went on a 3 day, 2 night Safari trip and stayed at a "4 star lodge" with horrible internet speed but that's not what bothered me. I hardly saw ANY animals. Those I did see I had already seen much closer and for MUCH cheaper at wild animal parks in Joberg. But everyone said you HAVE to go on... more

Great Place. The Chalet is unforgetable. The extra bed on the veranda and the bath with view on the bushveld was great. I think I've never slept on a wider bed. In 3 days we saw the big 4 (no buffalo) and the seeing with the leopard walking beside our vehicle was really nice. The food is good , but... more

Just returned from the Ivory Tree Lodge. First thing to point out is the good level of service, after 3 weeks in South Africa, the service was by far the best we have experienced in this country were you have to be VERY patient with the staff… The hotel is next to the Pilanesberg reserve so the location is ideal.... more
