Stayed here as this was cheaper than other good hotels in the same location. Rooms were very small and service wasn't that great! I am a vegetarian, however what a shame, they could not get me a single vegetarian food to eat (not even a simple veggie sandwich!) All I could have was soup and bread! I have stayed at this property many times during my stay at Johannesburg and I found it to be safe, spacious, luxurious and close to the city center. - no hot water in rooms higher up (lived on 7th floor), both morning and night. When some hot water is available, it is either scolding hot or still too cold. - cold rooms during winter - windows not well isolated - shabby condition in general - internet connection not working - slow service at reception both on service requests... more
