We've stayed at the Snowshoe Motel twice now, and both times have found it to be an acceptable, average roadside motel. With the kinds of prices that one can find in Alaska and the Yukon for lodging, the price we've paid (around $90) is actually a pretty good bargain. Stayed here for one night on the drive to Haines, Alaska. Very clean. Was traveling with two dogs so it was a definite plus that they accepted pets. Restaurant is pretty good. Folks were very friendly and helpful. Free wifi was nice too. more
