Dreams Beach Marsa Alam

Overall we had a good time I wouldn't say there was anything wrong with the hotel it was just in my opinion rated too high. Only one main restaurant, buffet style the food was very repetitive and not a great variety in choice, you need to remember that 75% of the guests at the hotel are Italian so they cater... more

Just returned from a weeks holiday at the Utopia Beach Club, all i can say it has many problems that need addressing ! First of all, the Rep !!! Where do I start - this hotel may appear by some people's standards as 4 star +but the food and more importantly the service makes it a 5 star. Everyone was smiling, polite and genuinely helpful. At first I thought it all appeared a bit false but not at all. The picture of the room on the website was deceptive.... more

What can I say?? you pay for what you get and I didn't expect 4 or 5 star but this place is 2 at best........most of the folks had sickness and well free colonics! the food is awful inedible and suspect, the staff are trying to do their best with what management tell them and the substandard food available sort... more

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks, the hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Entertainment There is no entertainment appart from the man 'singing' in the lobby bar and he tries to sing the same tunes every night and never gets any better. If you wanted to see a show of dancers, snake charmers or... more

Just finished our stay,July 17th, in which you might say a nice builded clean Resort. Food was okay, clean rooms, lot of swimming pools, wave pool and a large attraction coming up their newly build Aquapark. It is completely suited for families and also there is a lot of entertainment for both, adult and children. This Resort is mainly Italian... more

Spent a week at the Calimera after a week's Nile cruise. If you are doing this please note that this involves a six and a half hour journey in a mini-bus and the driving is hair-raising to say the least! However,we arrived safely and were given a free upgrade to a superior room which was enormous with spectacular views of the... more

We recently stayed at the Brayka Bay resort, Marsa Alam. The resort is lovely and first impressions were good. The staff were friendly. The beach was nice although not as nice as the beach in the Grand Resort/Hotel Hurghada. Diving was more expensive than Hurghada and Sharm el Sheik. The entertainment is not good, entertaniment was in italian and the... more

The Hotel was very clean and well maintained and there were plenty of helpful and friendly staff. It had 2 beautiful pools well maintained with shaded areas and sun loungers. Pool towels were freely available and could be exchanged for clean ones at any time. The beach had a large number of sun loungers with parasols and wind shields, although... more

After reading all the reviews on T.A., I was prepared for the worst! Fortunately I was positively surprised. We were a party of 7: 4 adults and 3 young children. THE GOOD: Small-size resort in a wonderful location, very far from the airport (about 130-140 km), good price. The reef is intact, great coral formations, clear water, many fishes can... more

The hotel was advertised as a 4 star all inclusive hotel. In my view it was no more than a 2 star hotel. The rooms are a reasonable size but require upgrading. There were several power cuts each day and night, probably to conserve energy. The staff are friendly and helpful but need training and the hotel needs inward investment.... more

Back since yesterday from a two weeks holiday in the Tulip Resort. Reading some of the latest reviews of people who were probably there at the same time as us, I can only be astonished. We ate the same food, which wasn't bad, and weren't ill, not even for a day. Of course it's different from what you eat at... more
