The staff here was very helpful. After many late nights in San Jose I needed some rest and relaxation. Puerto Viejo has numerous places to get your groove on, but Pagalu was a great place for home base to rest and recharge. Very family like atmosphere. Definitely a great place to stay. more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Cashew Hill with 2 other friends for 3 nights in November 2009. Wendy was a great help before our trip, answering endless questions about Cashew Hill, Puerto Viejo, and Costa Rica in general. My boyfriend and I stayed in October and we promised each other to return. Hotel Kasha is much more than we expected. So peaceful and quiet, all the birds and monkeys, the lovely gardens, the amazing pool, our soothing white bungalow. The food at the Magic Ginger Restaurant is absolutely delicious.
