My husband and I traveled to many spots in Costa Rica. We look for quiet and relaxing hideaways where we feel less like a tourist. When in Costa Rica in April we met travelers in Tortuguero that reccommended Piscina Natural in Cahuita. They were right on. This place is a real gem. Independent little cabanas perfect for couples travelling together. Owners are accomodating and quirky and their dogs are cute. Tons of wildlife on the grounds, holwer monkeys, frogs, etc. and beautiful vegetation surrounds you. Walking distance to Cahuita National park with amazing beach and great wildlife sightings and to town which has plenty of choices... more
