We feel compelled to provide the following positive and negative info: in early Nov 2009 we spent 7 nights in training as Vina Romantica Innkeepers - to give inkeeper/owner Sherry a break for five months, scheduled since April 2009. This hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking Alajuela. However, it is so far away that dining options are pretty much limited to the hotel's restaurant. Fortunately, the food and service were good. The hotel was very clean, and we felt very safe. more
