Getting from Colombo to Kandy is an experience alone but exciting. We reached Mahaweli Reach Hotel after a stop in "Elephant Orphanage" it was very nice by the way. I travelled here with my extended family. After staying in a horrible hotel the previous night when we arrived it was a fantastic relief. Lovely staff at reception and although we couldn't check in until later (was told this in advance when booked) they were very accommodating. Rooms were spacious, clean and had a great view. This Hotel was suggested to us by our guide Bubsy. And we are so glad we listened to him. This is a beautiful hotel in the hills.With a breathtaking view that just helps you relax.
