Stayed at Berjaya resort Tioman for a few days. It is a very nice resort. A bit more on the expensive side but worth it. They have nice beaches, excellent rooms and chalets, tennis courts, gym, swimming pool and three restaurants to choose from for dining. Great holiday experience! more
We stayed in chalet number 4 and needless to say, we did not experience the famous warm hospitality from the staff (i.e. just the one person around, Lin). Perhaps we caught her at a bad time (all the time) or that she wasn't about to extend her hospitality to local citizens of the country, but no matter. We didn't think... more
Juara Mutiara Resort has cozy atmosphere and beautiful beach. Juara is a beach and very small village on east coast Tioman island. Another atmosphere than on Tekek and west coast of island. Very peaceful and silent place.Not so much turists - only beach and you. Resort has few houses on the beach and few on the jungle side. All houses... more
