Lake Nakuru Lodge is very nice and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was great, spacious and had amazing views. The grounds, garden areas and flowers were stunning. Plenty of seating areas to enjoy the wonderful views. The food was good, lunch was served on a verandah overlooking the views. A guitarist entertained us during dinner which was pleasant.... more
Another excellent safari lodge! Our room was on the edge of the complex looking out towards the lake and grasslands. The room was very comfortable and ample for our short stay. We spent a long weekend at the Maili Saba Camp, about 30 minutes from the Lake Nakuru National Park. The "hotel" consists of a central lodge and dining area, along with perhaps 10 luxury tents ("bandas") on foundations. Each banda has a private bath and hot water shower, and there are various bed arrangments. We stayed in a double bed.... more
