Worst Hotel we stayed on our trip. We (4 persons) visited San Pedro de Atacama in the month of October 2008 and stayed for 2 night in Hostal Don Raoul. This is a hostal on the outside of San Pedro de Atacama - it is very quiet - so you can have a good night sleep. The people are very friendly and helpfull. Prices of the rooms... more
I can confirm every word of tinamreynolds review... the poor maintenance, the door which was hard to open, the trickling hot & col water, the shower handles falling off. I assume we stayed in the same room, except that it showed one more feature at our stay: every time we flushed the toilet, part of the feculence water was running... more
