We arrived at the pousada early in the morning after an overnight bus journey and were greeted by Aline who immediately offered us breakfast (something that has never been offered to us on day of arrival before!) which was delicious. Being the only English pub in Floripa, it is worth the trip. I live in Santinho, which is 30 km from Lagoa and go there twice a week. Simon, the boss, has done a tremendous job and offers good English ales and international beers. You can even get Heinz Beans on toast. They have a number of delicious traditional dishes... more
