After reading an earlier review, we brought along mosquito nets but it turns out that in August, the dry season, you don't need them. Just plaster yourself with 'Off' or 'Fush' when you are outside at dawn or dusk. My kids and I just returned from a wonderful 5 -day trip to the Pantanal. We saw almost all the animals we'd wanted to see-- teriffic luck!
