This was a very Japanese expereince- we encountered only one other Westerner on the entier trip to Kusatsu - an Austrailan bellhop who disappeared after check in only to mysteriously reappear two days later when we were checking out. Some staff can speak simple english to me and very polite, traditional Japanese style room, with a free Hot Spring a good trip stay in Kusatsu I hope i can visit this again more
