Was in Alva for a one-night business trip. I heard from my client that the hotel was recently renovated by a new owner. So it appears that the older reviews on here are pre-renovation. Formerly a Best Western that lost its franchise, this hotel has its problems. Definitely would advise checking cleanness of the rooms (and bed sheets) prior to checking in. Breakfast is okay. Don't bother renting one of the kitchenettes because they don't allow you to cook in the rooms anyway. more
