Stayed at the Kavala Hotel for 7 days in September this year with my wife . The hotel rooms were incredibly small, you could here everything from the other rooms and from the stairs. We didn't have any hot water all week, only warm water on one evening. The staff were all very nice but the owner couldn't accept criticism... more
this was supposed to be a 4 star hotel ,my rating it could rate a 1 star,breakfast was a boiled egg or cold meat covered in flies, olives or bread,soggy cerial, no lunch available. dinner menu there was nothing labled and as my partner has a allergy to fish we could not take the chance of eating there, the bar... more
I arrived early morning to a very unfriendly welcome which didn't improve. The room I was shown had a balcony which was completely overgrown with plants - it was impossible to see anything from it. By day it didn't get any sun (or daylight) and by night it attracted every mosquito in Gumbet! I asked to be moved to another... more
