“good value for money, decent location with pool”

good deal for the money. pool is very cold, but OK and no lower area for kids, so need to be supervised at all times. workout room is small but has everything needed. some works are going on right now (Jul09) but should be done soon. Street is off main road where plenty of buses go to train station, airport,... more

The Hump is great, your best pick for a place to sleep in Kunming. The staff is very friendly and the location is right in the middle of everything. I didn't really enjoy the city Kunming, but I definitely enjoyed The Hump. Lots of other travellers stay here, there's always something going on. A dorm bed comes with a locker... more

Brilliant geological features, but for 140RMB (about £14) the price was a shock! Also so busy it was a bit like disneyland! If you can, find one of the smaller stone forest's nearby that avoid the crowds and the price. more
