“Right Next to the Metro”

The location for this hotel is great. Down the road there is a nice supermarket, and right next door is the train station. The staff is friendly (front desk, waiters, etc.) the security guards aren't the friendliest people on the planet, but their job isn't to be friendly. the room was cold dirty unconfortable and reception was very impolite and always there was very bad smelling in hotel , i stay one night there and was very very bad place more

We stayed at the Golden Apple on my first trip to Russia (my partner's umteenth trip). I must say, after hearing horror stories about Soviet-era hotels with dishonest staff and abhorrent service, I wasn't expecting much.
