I'm not aure how is the stay in a dormitory but the private ensuite japanese-style rooms are excellent. The room is designed in a japanese style including dining table, tatami mats, japanese windows and doors and a big closet. Stayed recently for 3 nights. The best thing about this place is the number of outdoor hot springs baths that they had - 8 separate pools for men and another 8 for the ladies.
