A visit to the Noritake factory may only appeal to the mature visitor, in that there's no rides/thrills/spills available, but having said that, on the day we visited, plenty of kids were in evidence having a pretty good time. Anyone who appreciates Noritake ceramics/chinaware etc. really has to allow for a full day here. There is a museum and science... more

Princess Gardens is in the Sakae area which makes it easy for access to shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is in need of a bit of modernisation- Pretty drab interior, rooms were old and needed a bit more attention from housekeeping, only limited english at reception, breakfast options pretty limited. Located in the Nagoya train station. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Excellent service and beautiful lobby and rooms. Really very nice. more
