4 of us were well looked after by Isabelle, who with her architect husband from Belgium have transfromed a traditional Djerban house into a small boutique inn. Djerba is pretty resorty, and the only decent beaches are in the Tourist Zones, which are full of Europeans and their fancy hotels. I recommend heading to Zarzis or Gabes and finding something around there for a more authentic Tunisian experience. Even the resorts in Zarzis seem nicer. more

Amazing hotel. Rooms are spotless and our part of this big hotel had an indoor garden. Restaurants expensive but good, varied choice. Beach great. Couples only ,hurrah!! and Family sides to the beach. Nowhere to walk to. The road outside was under repair so the hire car took a bit of battering.
