I stayed here with my wife for 8 nights from the end of October to early November and was extremely impressed. I can't disagree more with some of the other reviews that mention the hotel not being up to standard the staff were excellent and our room was cleaned to an extremely high standard every time we left the room... more

Stayed at the Patong Merlin in Oct 2009 with my partner for three weeks. This resort is in a great location but it is definitely not suited for couples.
