Don't be misled by the name, it is just a hotel not a resort. The hotel at a good distance (approx 3-4 Km) from the main tourist area (boulevard road, where all the dal lake house boats, hotels and tourist shops are located). Arrived in Srinagar in extremely cold conditions. We were told that this is one of the best hotels in the city. Was the worst experience ever. The rooms seemed as though they had not been cleaned in ages. The bathrooms were filthy. Stay away from this one. more
