Just a dirty, smelly hotel. You certainly can do better than this hotel when staying in Tela. I had heard this was a nice place to stay....maybe these people stayed here a long time ago, or the owners changed, or the manager changed, or because we went in the off season the people there just dont give a darn about... more
We finished our trip around Guatemala & Honduras by the town of Tela. Some friends told us about the GRAN CENTRAL…that it was very nicely decorated, that the french owners were very friendly and helpfull if we needed any informations on what to do or visit in the area !! No disappointment and more we established friendly links with Luc... more
I am not certain what the other people who have written reviews for this hotel have been smoking, but I´d like to take a hit of whatever they are having! Ever watch that movie Big with Tom Hanks....that is this hotel. Dirty, huge 6 foot hole in the wall...bags of concrete on the second floor with free tires! Best of... more
