Previous reviews are pretty well in line with what was noticed in June 07. Good news is, if you are in town, there is a wireless internet connection in the hotel with a reasonable line, so you'll get more done in the way of emails while sipping a beer at the bar than anywhere else in town. This is an oasis in the chaotic city of Cotonou. It was a Sheraton property. It has a feel of a well thought out design. But this hotel is nothing like any Sheraton hotels. Agree with other travelers - very generic hotel. But rates were better than the Benin Marina (aka the old Sheraton). And the staff and (very) small lobby are much more friendly. This former Sheraton Hotel lives a bit from its former glory - decor, facilities and the general feeling are more of the African 80ies. We could only stay 2 nights. But what a place. OK the rooms are a bit on the old side, staff though are great and service is superbe. They have a good communications centre in their lobby with wifi internet access. The pool and sports facilities are their greates assets. We will be back more

This was a fantastic hotel. The have a very helpful and cordial staff. Rooms were clean and well appointed, many with views of the lagoon. The hotel restaurant is one of the best in Cotonou with its own pizza oven (fantastic pizzas) as well as local cuisine. The swimming pool was also quite large and clean. more
