We stayed at the Hotel Jupiter for two nights over the last weekend in November 2009. I am very surprised that this is Lonely Planets reccommended hotel in their Lebanon guide. Yes it is 'atmospheric' and frankly pretty weird but at $50 a night to have no hot water morning or evening is too basic. It's actually rather creepy at night especially with no other guests around and the view of the ruins isn't that special.... more
