After reading all the bad reviews of Grand Traverse Resort on this website, I was really worried about what our stay would be like. We have stayed in lots of places all over the US and Europe. This hotel is overpriced ($150) and they say they are going "green"....that's why there are no coffee makers in the rooms, no mini fridges or microwaves either. We have stayed in less expensive hotels and had a more pleasant stay. The down comforter on our bed was... more

Prices too high, luckily I saw review that no coffee makers are provided in the room so we packed our own. Got to resort at 1pm hoping for early check in and knowing it was our best weather day by their predictions.
