Excellent, modern city hotel. Just 10-15 mins stroll from the restaurants, cafes and bars of "The Block". Piramida, Skanderberg Square and all the varied architecture of Tirana are also within walking distance. All rooms are modern and clean and staff are friendly, very helpful and also multi-lingual. Hotel California in Tirana, sounds funny... We came to town after sunset, without planning and found this hotel when driving to the very downtown. Limited parking but we were lucky. Nice location, couple of minutes walk off the main square. Room small but clean and everything working. Own balcony. Staff very friendly and adviced a lot. more

Right in the middle of the "bllok" part in center of tirana. Very clean, hospitable fast and professional service. The food was outsdanding and combined the pizza with traditional Alabnian cusine. The price for two, with a bottle of wine was about 47.00$. If you are in Tirana, there are few places like this you dont want to miss. more

Spent two nights at Villa Tafaj and loved it. The location is very central to the main square. The staff speak good English and are very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
