This hotel did survive the civil war but just by a wee bit. The rooms are run down and the furnishings old, wornout, and dirty. The double bed is two singles with a mattress thrown over them but no springs. You sink into a heads up, feet up position with a ridegeline down the middle. Pillows are smelly and dirty.... more
