I booked the Executive Floor after reading the previous reviews of the rooms condition. To my expectation, the executive room is newly renovated but not up to the 5 star hotel standard. Poor finishing, broken power outlets, etc. The front desk staff (the locals and foreigners) provide cold service which is not a standard in Sheraton hotels. It was real... more

Felix Arabia is a stunning antique 1001-night hotel, basic but very clean, with very firendly owner and nice staff . It is great to have a room in the top floor (no elevator!), stunning view over sanaa and all minaretts, especially during sun-rise . I have used this hotel as hub, check in/out 3 times and travvelled with light luggage,... more

the service is slow in the coffee shop, and I wondered why the young ladies were dressed up as calls girls. In general the food was cold in the restaurants My room was far from satisfactory and when it was mentioned to the manager (pilipino I think her name tag was Ze or something like this) she was rude and... more

We've just returned from a three day trip to Sana'a, Yemen. We stayed at the Sana'a Nights Tourist Hotel, run by the delightfully friendly and helpful Kais. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel. Kais organised everything for us, collected us from the airport, organised a half day city tour on our first day, took us shopping... more

I have been there for few days. Weather is very nice and fresh. There is a nice Hotel called Istanbul in Hadda street near a good restuarant (El Diwan) so you can go for lunch on foot. Prices in Yemen is very cheap, you can buy electronic stuff, mobile phones, perfumes and cosmetics in very cheap prices. You can go... more

The movenpick hotel Sanaa has nice rooms with all facilities including WiFi internet. The hotel has a choice of good restaurants and indoor/outdoor pool and fitness center. Surely the best of this category in Yemen. more

Stayed here before the start of my tour in November and again at the end in December. The house is in Old Sanaa - having gone up to the Sheraton and Moevenpick for drinks, staying in the Old Town is far more atmospheric. The rooms are beautifully restored, although the noise from the hallway does filter into the rooms, as... more

Sana'a is something impossible to be described. The hotel represents all this extrordinary character, giving its guests all the comfort they wish (and need). +++++ A special thank to Ms Soraya, absolutely unique in kindness, efficiency and more more over! more

A very nice Hotel. Staff is perfect. I paid 30 USD for one night for a room with a bathroom. Of course standarts are so low, but still good in Yemen conditions. In the heart of the old city. Close to Tourism police, where you need to get permission to travel out of Sana'a. The most important point is that... more

On my second trip to Yemen I used the Sheraton as apposed to the Movenpick mainly to get my Sheraton points and assumed the hotels would be of a similar status. The thing is the Sheraton is about 25 years old and the Movenpick is nice and new and unfortunaltey the Sherton is now showing its age. To be fair... more

The hotel is situated in the heart of the old center and has been built slowly and precisely to match the architectural style. I was amazed, you feel warped back in time, and the calm and quietness is phenomal. For example, all rooms have custom designed furniture which looks so spectacular that you are almost afraid to desecrate by touching... more

We stayed in Burj Al Salam Hotel for four nights in March 2009. The hotel is cenrally located, just in the heart of Sanaa old city. Very nice, friendly and professional staff. The room (junior suite called Terim) was charming: spacious, with a terrific view to the old Sanaa city, stylishly decorated. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice... more

I stayed in Taj Talha for 2 nights during a weekend getaway to Sanaa. The best part of the hotel was its location: right at the heart of old Sanaa town. It was not too far from the main road (10 min walk), close to local market, foodstalls and a hammam (old Turkish bathhouse). With such a superb location, I... more

We arrived in Sana'a at 4am, after a crazy trip in Cairo. We were two girls alone, for the first time in Yemen, not speaking arabic, but we never felt more safe, at ease, and pampered. The people at Sana'a Nights were so welcoming, we felt like we were arriving home, not to a strange far-away country. The hotel is... more

Sanaa Nights is a special place. The moment you put a foot inside you feel like it's your own home. Kais and his brother Abderrahman take time to sit with you and really have the chance to get to know them. We had the honor of being invited for a copious lunch and subsequent qat session, the ultimate Yemen experience... more
