Of course I was lucky to stay at a hotel because the last time I was in Sana'a (early this year) I had to stay at a compound apartment because of security issues. The rooms are fine but one surprise is there is NO CLOCK and NO KETTLE / TEA / COFFEE station in the room! Weird. I ordered a... more

I went to Old San'a in April-May 2008 for a wedding. I was able to stay in the home of bride and groom near Bab as-Sabah.
