I stayed in the Red Lion for about 11 hours having checked in at 2pm and getting picked up for a boat to the rig at 3am. I'm quite glad as I don't think I could last a few nights here! The Sultan Inn is a beautiful, tiny boutique hotel smack in the middle of Old Baku. The room is beautifully appointed, as they say. Has a luxurious feel with dark woods and leather. Azcot Hotel

The location of Azcot is the biggest plus of it. Very central next to Fountain Square, close to the seashore promenade and the old city. The rooms are ok and clean, service is also alright. A little bit too British in style for being in the Caucasus, but that is also something to cope with. The internet was quite slow... more
