I stayed at this hotel last summer. The overall experience was very good. I was on the fifth floor and I had absolutely no problems with noise as other travelers noted. The service was excellent, the restaurants top class and the personnel very friendly. It also has nice Sauna that you can use at no extra charge. In order to... more

At Golden Tulip Yerevan you feel both the great Armenian hospitality displayed by a very professional staff and high international standards that make your stay very pleasant. I would recommend it to people visiting Yerevan for the first time - they will enjoy the central location on Abovian street, with its elegant buildings, lovely cafés and shadowy trees, as much... more

For 22,000 dram per night they provided a junior suite. It was enough space for a single traveler. You can get in-room internet or breakfast for about 2000 dram additional each day. The internet speed was about 200 kbps - good by Armenian standards. The desk clerks speak English. Air conditioning and hot water worked fine. If you are handicapped... more

This is my 9th visit to Armenia since 1991 and this time we stayed at Hotel Meg for 13 nights. Built just 2 years ago with elegant decor, accomodations are excellent with a large shower, big comfortable bed with soft linens, mini fridge, wifi and breakfast delivered to your room daily. Entire staff is well trained, very nice and can... more

We had to find a hotel in Yerevan we could stay in for more than one month. First we checked into Mariott, which was not bad, but we did not find it cozy, the breakfast room was always overcrowded, value-added services such as dry cleaning, laundry and Internet were overpriced. There was no personal touch - it felt like we... more

Hotel Owner, Aris, knows how to treat his guests. It is like to be home! Staff is very friendly (and english, russian, armenian speaking). Rooms are spacious, new, decorated with taste, very clean and very quiet, right in the middle of the city centre. Our room was like an appartment, with a living room, TV+DVD player, a small kitchenette, nice... more

Firstly, a couple of small caveats. This isn't a hotel, nor is it trying to be. The house is undergoing some renovation so there isn't plaster on the bathroom walls right now. But in a country where not all properties have hot and cold running water 24/7, the fact that this has both available at all hours is more important.... more

I stayed here for a week while in Yerevan for business. The staff is friendly and since most people outside of Armenia do not speak Armenian, many do in fact speak some English. When walking into the Hotel, I was amazed at the size of the foyer. It is very nicely decorated and maintained with plenty of seating. There is... more

The Meg is a real find - a chic, stylish hotel tucked into a side street in downtown Yerevan but close to the most vibrant part of the city. The Meg is mostly about design; every aspect of the interior adheres to a tasteful, minimalist design aesthetic. My room was spacious, with a large table for breakfast (served in the... more

If you're buying a BMW and want the convenience of a hotel attached to a dealership, this place is for you. The Ararat Hotel bills itself as 5 star; in reality it musters 2 stars, maybe 3. I stayed in two different rooms; the first had a defective neon light over a picture which strobed all night even when the... more

The Congress Hotel is located several blocks from Republic Square (in a less interesting direction). It is a fairly standard chain hotel, with an elevator and free internet. A pizza restaurant is located in the same building. Breakfast is not included with the room, but costs about $10 for a buffet breakfast which was quite good, including omelettes cooked to... more

Yerevan was my last stop on a 6-week trip and the hostel was one of the nicest, friendliest places I visited. I really appreciated the guest kitchen and free internet, and the English-speaking staff were very knowledgeable and helpful! The location is very good, a 10-min. walk away from Yerevan's main square. I stayed in a windowless basement dorm that... more

The Congress is a couple long blocks behind Republic Square, across from a park. The rooms are spartan at best, but OK if all you want to do there is sleep and shower. Rooms are moderately clean. Internet access is free and works well. Breakfast is fair, but not much variety. The street outside can be very noisy at night.... more

With its prime location directly on Republic Square, The Marriott Armenia Hotel is the best place to stay in Yerevan by far. Extremely clean, spacious 2-room suites with large comfortable beds with numerous pillows, nicely appointed bathrooms, roomy closets and a minibar. The rooms are in the back of the building away from the street and are very quiet. Hotel... more

I stayed at Marriott 2 years ago with my husband and 2 kids, 7 and 8 for 2 weeks. We loved it!!!! The hotel is situated in the best location in Yerevan. the Hotel is located very near the Centre. There is always someone (24 hours) in the reception and in the small bar located just in the hall. Personnel is very nice and help to you all the time. Everything the Meg hotel owners mention on theis site is true: it is small, it is modern, it is centrally located, it has friendly and helpful staff. Moreover, it is impeccably clean, quiet, custom designed, air-conditioned and well-heated (winters in Yerevan can be quite severe), and it has free wi-fi. Meg is very well hidden (while being 5 minutes away... more
